Wujian completes the installation of Vinyl acetate vinyl torch ahead of schedule

Recently, the Sichuan-Weichuan 300,000-ton/year ethylene acetate project methanol integration plant flare system constructed by Wujian, including the flare tower, flare exhaust cylinder, molecular sealer, and flare head, was installed in place and completed one day ahead of schedule. During the week, the torch was paired and submitted for inspection. The first section of the torch from 0m to 16.5m was soon hoisted. After that, the operators were divided into three large-scale groups and they respectively performed ground pairings on the second section of 16.5 to 33 meters, the third section of 33 to 51.5 meters, and the fourth section of 51.5 to 77 meters. The molecular sealer and the torch head are assembled with the tower. To avoid working at heights, the 16 torches are attached to the tower pipeline and the inspection and operation platform is installed at the same time. From the use of lifting rigs and 400-ton cranes, the supply of sunstroke medications, cold drinks and mung bean soup was guaranteed in a timely manner. It took only 18 days from the arrival of the material to the installation of the torch.
