Valspar introduced a new series of barrier/oxygen-absorbing resin ValOR.Pvc Resin The ValOR resin is a specialty polyester that can be used as a barrier/oxygen absorber resin in multilayer PET bottles, and can also be processed with PET to prepare relatively Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate transparent single-layer PET bottles. Boric Acid Flakes ValOR resin is not only less delaminated than the barrier resin used for other multi-layer PET bottles, but it is itself a transparent resin. Val OR series resins include water-activated grades and moisture-insensitive grades. The target applications are beer bottles, disposable carbonated beverage bottles and containers.
