Anshan Iron and ISIS Joint Venture Develops Iron Oxide Powder

On March 27, Anshan Iron Oxide Blood and Steel Group and the United States International Steel Service Corporation (USA ISSI Corporation) signed an Iron Oxide Benefits powder cooperation project agreement in Beijing. The two sides jointly established Ansteel Boric Acid Flakes Iron Oxide Powder Co., Ltd. Melamine Powder to jointly develop iron oxide powder using Ansteel.

According to relevant agreements signed, the joint venture company will be held by Angang Steel Industrial Co., Ltd. with 55%, Anshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. holds 30%, Black Iron Oxide Powder and US ISSI company holds 15%. The joint venture company Sodium Hexametaphosphate will transform the Angang cold-rolled acid regeneration unit online and provide technical and equipment support for it. The modified acid regeneration unit will produce stable high-quality iron oxide powder while ensuring acid regeneration.
